The Manton Rangers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Kingsley Stags to 35 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Rangers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McBain for a Highland contest on Friday, December 9.

The Stags (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Buckley (Buckley, MI). The Bears enter the Northwest contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Buckley triumphed over Mesick (Mesick, MI), 65-62, in a non-league contest.
