December 5, 2022: Palos Heights, IL 60463 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL) and the host Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL), saw Stagg's basketball squad overcome Shepard by a tally of 61-44.
With the victory, Stagg improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Sandburg (Orland Park, IL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Sandburg lost 62-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Thornridge (Dolton, IL)
Next up, the Astros confront the Tinley Park Titans (Tinley Park, IL) in a South Suburban challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Shepard will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 62-61 league win over Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL).
