Illinois High School Basketball - Arcola crushes Blue Ridge
December 5, 2022: Arcola, IL 61910 Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL), 57-13 in a league bout.
With the victory, Arcola upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Purple Riders travel to Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL) to play the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The come into the bout with a record of 2-6. Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg lost 63-33 in their recent league bout against St. Anthony (Effingham, IL)
Next up, the Knights play the Cumberland Pirates (Toledo, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie bout, on Thursday, December 8. Blue Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 53-15 non-league win over Heritage (Broadlands, IL).
