Ohio High School Basketball - Shekinah Christian ripped by Elgin

The Elgin Comets basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Shekinah Christian Flames to 19 in the Comets non-league triumph on Monday.

The Comets now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perry for a Northwest Central contest on Thursday, December 8. Elgin will meet a Commodores team coming off a 44-29 non-league win over Pandora-Gilboa (Pandora, OH). The Commodores record now stands at 3-2.

The Flames (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty Christian Academy (Pataskala, OH). The Eagles enter the Mid-Ohio Christian contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Liberty Christian Academy was routed by New Hope Christian Academy (Circleville, OH), 51-23, in a non-league contest.
