Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] (Elgin, ND) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Standing Rock Warriors (Fort Yates, ND), 54-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign.

Next up, the Warriors play the Flasher Bulldogs (Flasher, ND) in a B Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Standing Rock will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
