Tennessee High School Basketball - Hixson trounced by North Murray
December 5, 2022: Hixson, TN 37343 The North Murray Mountaineers routed the host Hixson Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 54-9 in Monday's non-league game.
The Mountaineers (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA). The Rebels go into the AA Region 7 test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Haralson County was trounced by Ranburne (Ranburne, AL), 50-30, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Soddy Daisy for a 3A District 6 test on Tuesday, December 6. Hixson will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 39-31 league loss to Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN). The Trojans record now stands at 4-4.
