Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield East nudges Neuqua Valley
December 5, 2022: Naperville, IL 60564 Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL), 50-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Plainfield East upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Bengals host Joliet West (Joliet, IL) to clash with the Tigers in a SouthWest Prairie - East bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Joliet West won 60-50 in their recent league bout against Romeoville (Romeoville, IL)
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley bout, on Thursday, December 8. Neuqua Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Redhawks go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 61-36 non-league win over Oswego (Oswego, IL).
