December 5, 2022: Pitkin, LA 70656 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Pitkin Tigers (Pitkin, LA) and the visiting Pine Prairie Panthers (Pine Prairie, LA), saw Pitkin's basketball squad wallop Pine Prairie by a tally of 61-9.
With the victory, Pitkin improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Florien (Florien, LA) to play the Blackcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Blackcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Florien won 53-33 in their recent league challenge against Converse (Converse, LA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Mamou Demons (Mamou, LA) in a 3A District 4 challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Pine Prairie will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 38-35 non-league win over Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA).
