West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) supporters were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad wallop the visiting Siouxland Christian Eagles (Sioux City, IA), 68-27 in a league challenge.

With the victory, West Monona improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Bancroft-Rosalie (Bancroft, NE) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Tri County Northeast Wolfpack (Emerson, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Siouxland Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
