California High School Basketball - Hughson can't hold off Davis
December 5, 2022: Hughson, CA 95326 The Davis Spartans basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Hughson Huskies to 32 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Modesto for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. Davis will battle a Panthers team coming off a 84-61 non-league loss to Modesto Christian (Modesto, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
The Huskies (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Linden (Linden, CA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Linden was nudged by Atwater (Atwater, CA), 65-52, in a non-league contest.
