North Carolina High School Basketball - Bear Grass Charter holds off Bethel Christian Academy
December 5, 2023: Kinston, NC 28504 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bear Grass Charter Bears (Williamston, NC) and the host Bethel Christian Academy Trojans (Kinston, NC), saw Bear Grass Charter's basketball squad hold off Bethel Christian Academy by a tally of 48-43.
With the victory, Bear Grass Charter improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to North Duplin (Calypso, NC) to confront the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. North Duplin lost 82-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Gramercy Christian Warriors (Newport, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Bethel Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 58-51 non-league loss to Terra Ceia Christian (Pantego, NC).
