California High School Basketball - Berkeley holds off Dougherty Valley
December 5, 2023: Berkeley, CA 94704 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) and the visiting Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA), saw Berkeley's basketball squad hold off Dougherty Valley by a tally of 48-47.
With the victory, Berkeley improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Freedom (Oakley, CA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Freedom lost 69-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Cornerstone Christian (Antioch, CA)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots (Alameda, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Dougherty Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Pilots come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 54-51 non-league win over Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA).
