Oregon High School Basketball - Century holds off Oregon City
December 5, 2023: Hillsboro, OR 97123 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Century Jaguars (Hillsboro, OR) and the visiting Oregon City Pioneers (Oregon City, OR), saw Century's basketball squad hold off Oregon City by a tally of 57-54.
With the victory, Century improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Bend (Bend, OR) to confront the Lava Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Lava Bears come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Bend lost 83-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeridge (Lake Oswego, OR)
Next up, the Pioneers confront the Westview Wildcats (Portland, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Oregon City will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 72-45 non-league win over North Salem (Salem, OR).
