Mississippi High School Basketball - Charleston nips Leland
December 5, 2023: Charleston, MS 38921 Charleston Tigers (Charleston, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Leland Cubs (Leland, MS), 49-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Charleston upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Water Valley (Water Valley, MS) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 2-4.
Next up, the Cubs play the Humphreys County Cowboys (Belzoni, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Leland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
