Oregon High School Basketball - Franklin nudges Churchill
December 5, 2023: Portland, OR 97206 Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Churchill Lancers (Eugene, OR), 71-69 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Quakers travel to Liberty (Hillsboro, OR) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Liberty won 71-67 in their recent non-league bout against South Salem (Salem, OR)
Next up, the Lancers clash with the Crescent Valley Raiders (Corvallis, OR) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Churchill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 57-30 non-league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, OR).
