Mississippi High School Basketball - Coffeeville can't hold off Senatobia
December 5, 2023: Senatobia, MS 38668 The Senatobia Warriors basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Coffeeville Pirates to 60 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Independence for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Senatobia will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 54-49 league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.
The Pirates (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Houston (Houston, MS). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Houston nudged Nettleton (Nettleton, MS), 58-55, in a non-league contest.
