Kansas High School Basketball - Collegiate can't hold off Parsons
December 5, 2023: Parsons, KS 67357 The Parsons Vikings basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Collegiate Spartans to 68 in the Vikings non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Circle for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Parsons will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 66-39 non-league win over Independence (Independence, KS). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-0.
The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Labette County (Altamont, KS). The Grizzlies come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Labette County was nudged by Mulvane (Mulvane, KS), 54-39, in a non-league contest.
