Kentucky High School Basketball - Collins tops Owen County
December 5, 2023: Shelbyville, KY 40065 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Collins Titans (Shelbyville, KY) and the visiting Owen County Rebels (Owenton, KY), saw Collins's basketball squad knock off Owen County by a count of 56-46.
With the victory, Collins upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Titans host Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY) to play the Rockets in a District 30 challenge on Friday, December 8. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Shelby County lost 81-60 in their recent non-league challenge against North Oldham (Goshen, KY)
Next up, the Rebels play the Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY) in a District 31 challenge, on Friday, December 8. Owen County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 63-59 non-league win over Highlands Latin (Louisville, KY).
