December 5, 2023: Statenville, GA 31648 The Echols County Wildcats basketball team (Statenville, GA), was nudged 61-54 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Valwood Valiants (Valdosta, GA)
The Valiants now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lanier County for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 7. Valwood will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-56 non-league win over Irwin County (Ocilla, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-2.
The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Georgia Christian (Valdosta, GA). The Generals come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Georgia Christian edged Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA), 64-45, in a non-league battle.
