Arkansas High School Basketball - Elkins overwhelms Gentry
December 5, 2023: Gentry, AR 72734 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Elkins Elks (Elkins, AR) and the host Gentry Pioneers (Gentry, AR), saw Elkins's basketball squad wallop Gentry by a count of 72-42.
With the victory, Elkins upgrades its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Elks host Huntsville (Huntsville, AR) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Huntsville won 77-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Green Forest (Green Forest, AR)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Siloam Springs Panthers (Siloam Springs, AR) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, December 12. Gentry will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 64-50 non-league loss to Huntsville (Huntsville, AR).
