Roscoe Plowboys (Roscoe, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Hamlin Pied Pipers (Hamlin, TX), 35-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Roscoe upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Plowboys travel to New Deal (New Deal, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 1-4. New Deal lost 57-42 in their recent non-league bout against Abernathy (Abernathy, TX)

Next up, the Pied Pipers play the Knox City Greyhounds (Knox City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Hamlin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 97-37 non-league win over Guthrie (Guthrie, TX).
