Jefferson County Tigers (Fayette, MS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host South Delta Bulldogs (Rolling Fork, MS), 67-66 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Jefferson County upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Natchez (Natchez, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Natchez lost 56-50 in their recent non-league bout against McComb (McComb, MS)
