December 5, 2023: Kent, WA 98030 The Kent-Meridian Royals basketball squad (Kent, WA), was trounced 79-57 in Tuesday's league outing with the visiting Kentwood Conquerors (Covington, WA)
The Conquerors (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Tahoma (Maple Valley, WA). The Bears go into the 3A/4A North Puget Sound outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Tahoma smashed Auburn Mountainview (Auburn, WA), 58-36, in a league outing.
The Royals now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lindbergh for a non-league outing on Friday, December 8. Kent-Meridian will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 65-58 league win over Highline (Burien, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
