Louisiana High School Basketball - Monterey crushes LaSalle
December 5, 2023: Monterey, LA 71354 Monterey Wolves (Monterey, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting LaSalle Tigers (Olla, LA), 61-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Monterey upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Wolves travel to Vidalia (Vidalia, LA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Vidalia won 55-25 in their recent non-league bout against Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Rapides Mustangs (Lecompte, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. LaSalle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 52-46 non-league loss to Marksville (Marksville, LA).
