December 5, 2023: Lone Oak, TX 75453 The Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Troup Tigers (Troup, TX), 67-58 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Buffaloes (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Jayton (Jayton, TX). The Jaybirds go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Jayton notched a victory over Stamford (Stamford, TX), 81-29, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to All Saints Episcopal for a non-league test on Thursday, December 7. Troup will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 50-31 non-league win over New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 4-7.
