Arkansas High School Basketball - Mammoth Spring fells Manila
December 5, 2023: Mammoth Spring, AR 72554 Mammoth Spring Bears (Mammoth Spring, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Manila Lions (Manila, AR), 75-66 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mammoth Spring upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Bears host Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR) to clash with the Indians in a 1A Region 3 bout on Friday, December 8. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Marked Tree won 49-39 in their recent league bout against Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR)
Next up, the Lions clash with the Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Manila will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Blazers go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 60-59 non-league loss to Mountain Home (Mountain Home, AR).
