California High School Basketball - Scotts Valley nips Monte Vista Christian

Scotts Valley Falcons (Scotts Valley, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Monte Vista Christian Mustangs (Watsonville, CA), 55-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Scotts Valley upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Hollister (Hollister, CA) to play the Haybalers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Haybalers come into the bout with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Watsonville Wildcatz (Watsonville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Monte Vista Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Wildcatz come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 54-29 non-league loss to Salinas (Salinas, CA).
