Louisiana High School Basketball - Wright holds off Willow
December 5, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70115 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wright (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting Willow Lions (New Orleans, LA), saw Wright's basketball squad hold off Willow by a tally of 64-60.
With the victory, Wright improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The travel to Bonnabel (Kenner, LA) to confront the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 6. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Bonnabel lost 59-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA)
Next up, the Lions confront the South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Willow will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 66-61 non-league win over L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA).
