Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics Storm (Alexandria, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host John Paul the Great Academy Guardians (Lafayette, LA), 31-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Psalms Christian Academy (Natchitoches, LA) to play the Ambassadors in a Christian Educators of Louisiana bout on Friday, December 8. The Ambassadors come into the bout with a record of 0-5. Psalms Christian Academy lost 52-23 in their recent league bout against Mount Olive Christian (Athens, LA)

Next up, the Guardians play the Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool (Lake Charles, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. John Paul the Great Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
