Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Avery County Vikings (Newland, NC) and the host Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC), saw Avery County's basketball squad wallop Lincolnton by a tally of 60-19.

With the victory, Avery County improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Erwin (Asheville, NC) to confront the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, December 8. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 2-2. Erwin won 64-15 in their recent non-league test against Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC)

The Wolves now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Burns for a non-league test on Friday, December 8. Lincolnton will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 71-44 non-league loss to Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
