Oregon High School Basketball - Bend tipped by Franklin
December 5, 2023: Portland, OR 97206 The Franklin Quakers basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Bend Lava Bears to 48 in the Quakers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Quakers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host David Douglas for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Franklin will meet a Scots team coming off a 60-17 non-league win over North Salem (Salem, OR). The Scots record now stands at 1-2.
The Lava Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against McKay (Salem, OR). The Royal Scots enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, McKay nudged Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR), 63-48, in a non-league contest.
