The McKeesport Tigers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Blackhawk Cougars to 37 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine-Richland for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28.

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Harvest Prep (Canal Winchester, OH). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Harvest Prep ran past Fairfield Christian Academy (Lancaster, OH), 59-9, in a league contest.
