Louisiana High School Basketball - Covenant Christian Academy fells Morgan City
December 5, 2023: Morgan City, LA 70380 Covenant Christian Academy Lions (Houma, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Morgan City Tigers (Morgan City, LA), 47-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Covenant Christian Academy upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Ascension Christian won 47-29 in their recent non-league bout against Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Terrebonne Tigers (Houma, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Morgan City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 54-26 non-league win over Centerville (Centerville, LA).
