Ohio High School Basketball - Delta nips Montpelier
December 5, 2023: Delta, OH 43515 Delta Panthers (Delta, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Montpelier Locomotives (Montpelier, OH), 43-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Delta upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Pettisville (Pettisville, OH) to play the Blackbirds in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Blackbirds come into the bout with a record of 2-2.
Next up, the Locomotives play the Gorham Fayette Eagles (Fayette, OH) in a Buckeye Border bout, on Friday, December 8. Montpelier will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 48-40 non-league loss to Swanton (Swanton, OH).
