December 5, 2023: Florence, WI 54121 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Northland Pines Eagles (Eagle River, WI) and the host Florence Bobcats (Florence, WI), saw Northland Pines's basketball squad hold off Florence by a count of 37-36.
With the victory, Northland Pines upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI) to play the Hodags in a Great Northern challenge on Friday, December 8. The Hodags come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Rhinelander won 66-45 in their recent league challenge against Antigo (Antigo, WI)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Wabeno/Laona Rebels (Wabeno, WI) in a Northern Lakes challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Florence will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
