December 5, 2023: Jena, LA 71342 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Jena Giants (Jena, LA) and the visiting Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA), saw Jena's basketball squad hold off Grant by a tally of 40-35.
With the victory, Jena improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Giants travel to Montgomery (Montgomery, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-5.
Next up, the Cougars play the St. Joseph's - Plaucheville Eagles (Plaucheville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Grant will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
