Georgia High School Basketball - South Forsyth tops Lanier

December 5, 2023: Cumming, GA 30041

South Forsyth War Eagles (Cumming, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA), 35-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Forsyth upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The War Eagles travel to West Forsyth (Cumming, GA) to play the Wolverines in a AAAAAAA Region 6 bout on Friday, December 8. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 2-5. West Forsyth lost 59-35 in their recent non-league bout against Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA)

Next up, the Longhorns play the Loganville Red Devils (Loganville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Lanier will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
