The Richard Montgomery Rockets basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Walter Johnson Wildcats to 37 in the Rockets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rockets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wootton for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Richard Montgomery will meet a Patriots team coming off a 55-31 non-league win over Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 1-0.
