Georgia High School Basketball - Central Gwinnett can't hold off South Gwinnett
December 5, 2023: Snellville, GA 30078 The Central Gwinnett Black Knights basketball team (Lawrenceville, GA), was nudged 23-21 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA)
The Comets now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Meadowcreek for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 9. South Gwinnett will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 46-9 league loss to Norcross (Norcross, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
The Black Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Wheeler (Marietta, GA). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Wheeler was nudged by Campbell (Smyrna, GA), 31-29, in a non-league battle.
