Texas High School Basketball - Overton tops Cooper
December 5, 2023: Overton, TX 75684 Overton Mustangs (Overton, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cooper Bulldogs (Cooper, TX), 39-21 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Overton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Alba-Golden (Alba, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Alba-Golden lost 54-50 in their recent non-league bout against Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the North Hopkins Panthers (Sulphur Springs, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Cooper will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
