North Carolina High School Basketball - Hillside nips Millbrook
December 5, 2023: Durham, NC 27707 Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC), 54-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Hillside upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Seaforth won 62-47 in their recent non-league bout against Carrboro (Carrboro, NC)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Millbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Capitals come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 49-44 non-league win over Cary (Cary, NC).
