California High School Basketball - Pleasant Grove holds off Manteca
December 5, 2023: Elk Grove, CA 95624 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) and the visiting Manteca Buffaloes (Manteca, CA), saw Pleasant Grove's basketball squad hold off Manteca by a tally of 53-49.
With the victory, Pleasant Grove improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Davis (Davis, CA) to confront the Blue Devils in a challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 3-2.
Next up, the Buffaloes confront the Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Manteca will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
