California High School Soccer - St. Augustine nudges Calexico
December 5, 2023: San Diego, CA 92104 St. Augustine Saints (San Diego, CA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Calexico Bulldogs (Calexico, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.
The Saints now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Del Norte for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 6. St. Augustine will meet a Nighthawks squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Calexico drops to 2-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Coronado (Coronado, CA) to meet the Islanders in a non-league test on Wednesday, December 6. The Islanders come into the test with a record of 0-3. Coronado lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA)
