December 5, 2023: Phoenix, AZ 85040 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) and the host South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ), saw Desert Edge's soccer squad knock off South Mountain by a count of 2-0.
The Scorpions now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Independence for a non-league test on Thursday, December 7. Desert Edge will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Central (Phoenix, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, South Mountain drops to 0-1 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Kellis (Glendale, AZ) to meet the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, December 8. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-2. Kellis lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Centennial (Peoria, AZ)
