Arkansas High School Basketball - Armorel holds off Piggott
December 5, 2024: Piggott, AR 72454 The Armorel Tigers basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Piggott Mohawks to 44 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now possess a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Maynard for a 1A Region 3 game on Friday, December 6. Armorel will confront a Tigers team coming off a 61-60 non-league loss to Corning (Corning, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 1-13.
With the loss, Piggott falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Mohawks travel to Riverside (Lake City, AR) to confront the Rebels in a 2A Region 3 game on Friday, December 6. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 13-0. Riverside won 53-39 in their recent league game against Corning (Corning, AR)
