Texas High School Basketball - Brenham victorious over Austin
December 5, 2024: Austin, TX 78703 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Brenham Cubs basketball team scored a good 65-57 triumph over the Austin Maroons.
The Cubs (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 12-0 record. In their last contest, Round Rock Westwood topped Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX), 63-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Maroons battle the Hendrickson Hawks (Pflugerville, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Austin will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 1-11 record after their 64-30 non-league loss to Permian (Odessa, TX).
