Texas High School Basketball - Borden County bested by Sundown
December 5, 2024: Gail, TX 79738 Sundown Roughnecks (Sundown, TX) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX), 51-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Sundown advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Roughnecks travel to Grady (Grady, NM) to face the Bronchos in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Bronchos enter the match with a record of 1-2. Grady lost 74-37 in their recent non-league match against Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM)
The Coyotes now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Deal for a non-league match on Friday, December 6. Borden County will face a Lions squad coming off a 59-30 non-league loss to Sundown (Sundown, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-4.
