The Brewer Bears basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Gainesville Leopards to 49 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now have a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Decatur for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Brewer will confront a Eagles team coming off a 54-36 non-league win over Northwest (Justin, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Gainesville falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7.
