December 5, 2024: Louisa, KY 41230 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Lawrence County Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 81-59 win over the Morgan County Cougars.
The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY). The Bobcats come into the District 58 contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Betsy Layne smashed Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY), 91-80, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Morgan County will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Generals come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 88-66 non-league win over Lee County (Beattyville, KY).
