Texas High School Basketball - Midway holds off Olney
December 5, 2024: Henrietta, TX 76365 The Midway Falcons basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Olney Cubs to 41 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Falcons now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Chico for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Midway will confront a Dragons team coming off a 89-74 non-league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Olney falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Boles (Quinlan, TX) to confront the Hornets in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 1-4. Boles lost 68-53 in their recent non-league game against Victory Christian Academy (Decatur, TX)
